This session will explore how adults learn, with a focus on learning styles, effective grouping strategies, and the planning of activities and tasks that maximise learner retention. Participants will engage in reflective tasks to identify their own trainer style and consider how this can positively influence their delivery, particularly in response to different learner behaviours.
Participants will then be provided with a Quality Assurance Rubric to apply to a sample professional development course. This opportunity to review and assess will support their understanding of the evaluation process, as well as the standards and requirements they will need to adhere to in order to create an effective CPD outline.
